International Journal of Sustainable Applied Science and Engineering (IJSASE) is an international, scholarly, peer-reviewed, fully open-access journal published by Behineh Gostar Sanaye Arman (BGSA), Iran.

IJSASE publishes original research articles, review articles, theoretical and methodological studies, and applied research in Sustainable Applied Science, Sustainable Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Engineering, Circular Economy, Sustainable Manufacturing, Smart Technologies, Climate Change, Green Supply Chain Management, Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability, and related interdisciplinary fields.

IJSASE is published by Behineh Gostar Sanaye Arman (BGSA), Iran, as an international scholarly journal dedicated to sustainable applied science and engineering research.

Open Access Policy

IJSASE is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are immediately and permanently available online without subscription or registration.

Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, reuse, adapt, translate, and build upon published articles for any lawful purpose, provided that proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and the original publication.

The journal follows the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and supports unrestricted access to scholarly research.

Authors retain copyright of their published work.

Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant IJSASE the right of first publication and the right to publish and disseminate the article under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

The license permits unrestricted sharing, distribution, adaptation, translation, text and data mining, and commercial reuse provided appropriate attribution is given.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to IJSASE undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

The peer-review process includes editorial screening, plagiarism checking, reviewer assignment, peer review, author revisions where necessary, and a final editorial decision by the Editor-in-Chief or a designated editor.

Publication Ethics and Research Integrity

IJSASE is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity.

The journal follows internationally recognized ethical publishing principles and policies covering plagiarism, duplicate publication, authorship, conflicts of interest, research misconduct, confidentiality, corrections, retractions, and responsible editorial practices.

All submitted manuscripts are screened using iThenticate before peer review.

Plagiarism Policy

International Journal of Sustainable Applied Science and Engineering (IJSASE) checks all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism and falsification/fabrication of data using iThenticate.

Plagiarism screening is conducted as part of the editorial assessment process. Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate text reuse, or other forms of academic misconduct may be rejected in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and research integrity policies.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original and properly acknowledge and cite the work of others.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

IJSASE is an open-access journal supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs) for accepted manuscripts.

No submission fee or peer-review fee is charged. APC is payable only after final acceptance.

Research Data Availability

IJSASE encourages authors to make research data supporting published findings publicly available whenever ethically, legally, and practically possible.

Where appropriate, datasets should be deposited in recognized discipline-specific or general-purpose repositories, and persistent identifiers or links should be provided in the manuscript.

The journal may request original data or supporting documentation where necessary to verify research integrity.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)

IJSASE recognizes the responsible use of generative AI technologies in scholarly publishing.

  • Authors may use AI tools for language editing, grammar improvement, and readability enhancement.
  • AI-assisted use must be transparently disclosed when appropriate.
  • AI systems cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
  • AI must not be used to fabricate or manipulate data, references, images, or scientific conclusions.
  • Reviewers and editors must preserve manuscript confidentiality and must not upload confidential manuscripts to external AI systems.

Data Repository Policy

IJSASE supports open science practices and encourages authors to deposit datasets, software, code, and supplementary materials in trusted public repositories whenever possible.

Discipline-specific repositories are preferred. If none are available, authors may use recognized general-purpose repositories.

IJSASE is indexed and abstracted in a number of scholarly databases, indexing services, journal directories, and bibliographic platforms.
